It is even threatened by turret MG, mainguns and of course Radar Gun SPAA This in turn means that it has to get too close to the targets to see them. The flight profile of the A-10 can only be low level because it is too slow and useless for anything else. Which means that it will be a victim in Air-RB and in Ground-RB it will meet SAM defense all the time. It will be released with a BR of 9.7+ anyway. What I don't understand is what people actually expect from the A-10. If a good pilot gets into A10 it could easly wipe out the entire enemy team on the gound without facing nearly any resistance from SPAA and enemie pilots. In summary: there is so much stuff that needs to be taken into account to balance this plane, making it nearly impossile to balance in the current stae of the game. Considering that the a 10 has a turbofan engine rahter than a turbo jet, flares can easly jam missiles and make them miss (not to mention that you either lock him on rathar or you have to get close to track). SPAA can easly be dealt with guided rockets and for air targets chaff and flare will do the trick. If the plane came out right now, the plane would easly destroy ground and even air targets without facing even the slightest of resistance. The A10 has nearly no limit, that bad boy can take rockets (guided and unguided), bombs (guided and unguided), missiles and the brrrrrtttt canon all at the same time, not to mention a lot of countermessures (even IRCM that jam radar). With the mig 27, the amount of ordinanace you can take is limited (specially with guided weponry like guided bombs and rockets). The thing is the mig27, although has the canon, lacks almost every single carachteristic of the a-10. When the mig 27 came out, some people (mostly brain dead) started saying that is unfair that russia gets acces to their brrrrt plane. I don´t think the A10 is should come out ritght now. I believe A-10 Thunderbolt II "Warthog" & Su-25 Frogfoot come for sure but A-10 still can't find the perfect point and difficult enough, hard to survive from enemy jet fighter, part of Su-25 is easier to balance than the a10 "Warthog" because air-to-air missile support both K-13A,R-60 & R-73 able to survive from enemy jet aircraft & attack helicopter, Air-to-surface missiles support Kh-23,Kh-25,Kh-29,9K121 Vikhr (Su-25T and Su-25TM only), carry more weapons, is something better than A-10 Thunderbolt II, so Su-25 Frogfoot therefore it is more likely. Personally i think that the su 25 is easier to balance than the a10, since it is faster and the r60m arent as powerfull as the aim9l, and itsnt as good as the a10 at killing tanks, with regular r60s it could be 9.7 or 10.0 like the a7d Though there is another way, gaijin must first introduce more advanced countermeasure which can help A-10 survive in higher br of air battles, maybe even gives the A-10 a new, different purpose in the matchmaking Until gaijin ever considers splitting aircraft BR depending on the battlemode, don't expect for A-10 or similar vehicles to come soon, or be ready to be disappointed if it come to the game sure it has all-aspect missile, but it's only 9.3 at best with that thing in air battles. but its flight characteristic is similar to 8.3 jets. it has all the ordnance to become the ultimate tank-plinker, and i'm not talking about the gun, making it by default a 11.0 in ground battles. I guess it's because A-10 is weird to balance. I think he's asking for our opinion on why A-10 isn't here
